Windows 10 19H1 Build 18317

Cortana and Search are getting separated in today’s new build. Moving forward Search and Cortana will be decoupled on the taskbar. Separating the two will “enable each experience to innovate independently to best serve their target audiences and use cases,” noted Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar and Brandon LeBlanc.

The company is also making changes and improvements to the font management experience. You will now be able to drag and drop font files from File Explorer into Settings > Fonts to install them. And for Insiders, the company is introducing a simplified Windows Insider Program Settings page. It will make it easier to sign up for the program and know which builds you will receive from the ring you choose.

In addition to the new features above, here is the list of other changes and improvements to expect in today’s build.
