The highly addictive game, which was downloaded 6.5 million times across all platforms on Christmas, will be released to Facebook on February 14th. Rovio, the game’s producer, wants to make the launch the biggest Facebook event ever. They already have over 16,000 people who signed up for the event. Like all things Facebook, the sign-up page is social and allows you to ask your friends to join in on the fun as well. The Facebook version won’t be too different from the Google Chrome or Google Plus game. The Facebook version will, however, have new power-ups exclusive to Facebook. According to the fan page, Angry Birds News, Big Birds, Mega Slingshot and Homing Bird will be available. Anyway, there’s also a trailer for the new version. Check it out below.
