I’ve owned all three versions of the 7″ Kindle Fire and must say this one is definitely the best. The first two were consumption devices mainly, but you can seriously get some work done on the HDX too. It’s a lot faster and the new mobile OS is smooth and snappy. It’s lighter than the iPad Mini with Retina — which I also own — and you don’t have to feel you can’t take it anywhere like an expensive iPad.

My understanding is that the Kindle does not have a keyboard. Is that correct? You can however get a keyboard http://goo.gl/6PNejc which is what I did for one of my iPad’s actually. I have put off buying a Kindle because I was under the impression it had no keyboard, digital or otherwise. This information puts a whole different spin on things …. (smile) They should drop the price formally. Then again, everyone loves a deal. ;) Comment Name * Email *
